ABOUT
UnitePV is comprised of Sarah Evans-Brockett, Reena Kolar, Matthew Dorr, Laura R. White, and Kim Mares. All 5 candidates are involved parents of students in the Perkiomen Valley School District, so they have a vested interest and bring a knowledge that is key when marking decisions about our schools. They come from various backgrounds and bring different strengths and viewpoints, but they are united in their desire to move Perkiomen Valley School District forward. Their name, UnitePV, reflects their mission to use their backgrounds and diversity to unify the community for the betterment of the school district.
They are running on a platform of enhanced services to address the growing mental health needs of our students, prioritization of inclusivity and equity, transparent communication, and strategic facilities planning. Most importantly, they are all about uniting PV. They want to hear the voices of teachers, staff, community, AND STUDENTS, in addition to administration and board, when they make decisions.They look to do all of this and more while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
